Sorry for the lack of updates as of late. Things have been hella busy.
Don’t miss the skatepark meeting on Tuesday, November 23, 2004 at 7:30 pm at the Cathedral Community Centre (across from Safeway on 13th Ave.). This shit is important, and you need to show up if you live and skate in Regina.
It scary when you find a photo on the internet (like the one above) of someone you know. This is the lovechild of Janz and HYNX.

Tomorrow is Sunday, November 14, 2004. You know what that means, right? GO RIDERS!
No, really.
“Welcome to Winter 8″ also happens to fall on that day, so be prepared for Regina’s biggest contest of each year. Be there or be lame. Sound system, guaranteed hometown heckling, product tosses (maybe even money), and some skateboarding too.

Welcome to Winter update:
We’ve received all of the prizes from our sponsors as of this morning, and here’s the skinny. This sunday we are going to be giving away over $3000 worth of products as well as the cash prizes! That is insane! This will be, by far, the best Welcome to Winter yet. Hands fucking down.
On a lighter note (or maybe not…), you had better not open those Rainiers too quickly- you may get a face full of suds.

Here is a little present for the few of you who actually read this: Tiki wallpaper! Make your computer the illest on the block. That’s right, just click your screen resolution below, and you can download that shit right onto your desktop. How sick is that?

“Bone her? Does that mean she’ll come faster?” Scotty
Half of you likely don’t know who Steve Rocco is, but he’s always up to something interesting…

New t-shirt graphic? Things always magically appear on the notepad in my office. Like the suggestion for Rainier as a sponsor for Welcome to Winter.
I wonder if Logan saw yesterday’s post. Really. That was just for him.
Warrio has made a return to the QC message boards. Let’s hope he’s around for a while.

Video premieres are-a-comin! YEEHAW! Stay tuned for premiere dates for Stereo’s “Way Out East”, North2 “Port Moody Blues”, and Almost’s “Round Three”. There are so many good videos in the works. Next year will be a good one for videos, my friends.
Coming tomorrow: Logan’s quote on this photo:
The contest prizes for Welcome to Winter are rolling in. The shit is lookin’ real good. Check the mini-site for it by clicking the logo to the right. You can download and print off an entry form. You know you want to. C’mon. What’s one time gonna hurt?
Quote of the Day
“Hey, man. It’s a big thing.” – Jenn
There will be a meeting on Tuesday, November 23, 2004 in regards to a new skatepark in Regina. This is the initial meeting in with the city, and in order for it to go over well, we need everyone to show up. I’ll post the location of the meeting a little bit closer to that date, and you’ll definitely be hearing about it more in the next few weeks. I promise.
What we need to push for is a park like this:
link one
link two
link three
link four
This is where skateparks are headed. Like it or not, our street spots will continue to dwindle away over the years until there is practically nothing left. Why not recreate our classic spots, and other classic spots of the world? Come to these meetings, support your scene, and show them our numbers.
