Lords of Honktown was conceived on a whim, and rolled along quite nicely into a great project. This is your once in a lifetime chance to get your hands on original artwork from some of the best artists in skateboarding. You won’t be disappointed. You may want to re-think your “new upholstery for my shitty car” grad present.

Lords of Honktown opening night will be held in conjunction with the DVS SKATE MORE premiere, which has had nothing but excellent reviews from those who have been lucky enough to see it already. From what I hear, if you liked Daewon’s part in Round 3, you’d better get ready for this one.

How did you guys like the skatepark meeting? Good stuff, huh? I wonder what would happen if the rest of society based their opinions on hearsay and myth. Uhhhh… oh, yeah. They already do. I saw Team America World Police last night for the first time. I almost felt like I lived through it last Wednesday night.

The def3 show was apparently pretty good last night. Sorry, Danny. Couldn’t make it. You’ll be able to buy his album in a couple of weeks though. We’ll let you know about it when it drops.

The shoe winner for May, Dave Brass, was on quite the ride last week. First he lost his job slangin’ DVD rentals. BUT THEN, not only does he receive an email saying he won a free pair of shoes, but he gets to add himself to the ranks of Whitney (April’s shoe winner) with a TOP NOTCH photo. I guess we should mention that the Queen of England is visiting the Queen City on this fine day. It’s raining. She’ll feel right at home. Apparently, MI-6 has enlisted Colin as the Queen’s personal companion during her visit to Regina due to his gentleman-like qualities. Besides, I heard through the grapevine that she’s already a C-Mac Fanclub member…..

News tomorrow about a skateboard contest in Regina before summer starts…. get your contest boots on Mr. Parker!

Did you hear about the skatepark meeting? Get your ass out there. We need as much support from skateboarders as possible. If there is one meeting you should attend in your life, let it be this one. Kater is exempt. At least he’ll have a good excuse this time.
