Well. It’s been a few days for the update in this here column. We FINALLY have a winner for the Fourstar contest (see October 9th). After many wrong answers, the first person to correctly answer the question of how many days the Tiki Room has been open was Aaron Switzer. He gave us the correct answer of 3449. There were two others who also got the correct number; honorable mentions go out to Sarah Wilke and Scot Nicholson who were both correct, but didn’t beat Aaron to the punch.
Just out of curiosity: if a certain skateboard shop in Regina designed a shoe with a major skateboard shoe company, with the shoe only available at that certain skateboard shop in VERY limited numbers, would you be interested in the once in a lifetime opportunity to purchase a shoe that was dedicated to the certain skateboard shop and the city it is in? If so, make sure you post in the comments below.
Dang. No correct guesses on the Fourstar contest from October 9th (scroll down for some info). Lots of entries, but nothing on point, so we’re gonna have to drop a LITTLE hint: the first official day of the Tiki Room was May 1st, 1996. If you can’t figure it out using that, well, then you’re stunted.
Mario was in today. He has a ghetto blaster for sale that has a records and has a TV in it. He’s selling it “for a friend”. If you’re interested, you could likely send him a personal message on the message board or something like that.
Looky, looky! The new Shoe Assessment is up and running! Check out all of the new kicks coming to the Tiki Room in the next couple of months. Do yourself a favor. A handy new feature is the email notification that you can add to the shoes you like. Drop in your email address, and we’ll let you know when they arrive.
