I agree that a park has to be built – it will attract a lot of young people to the city and totally won’t cause problems (the fear of break-ins is ridiculous).
I gotta speak for the environment though… the bird sanctuary is a pretty unique and important feature in the QC. If there is fear that this will disrupt that, I think we should work with others for responsible planning of the park. If they want to put it in Wascana, then it should be in the west part of the park near the pool and museum. Otherwise it is Les Sherman all the way!
Wascana man! I do not want those grannies calling the cops on me every night. What are you guys thinking, what kind of fun is Les Sherman going to be? According to the “Friends of Les Sherman” only 17% of residents want it…can you imagine the way they are going to reek havoc on our nightly grinds?
