This weather is nothing short of incredible. Gotta love the spring! The Tiki shoe release party is this Friday at the Distrikt. If you’re 19 or over, come down between 8pm and 10:30pm, and get a chance at a free pair of the shoes we’re celebrating! We’ll also be premiering the new Enjoi video at 9:00. See you there!

Happy Birthday Mr. Moen

The Tiki Shoe official release info

The date has finally been announced. We will indeed be releasing the Tiki Room x DC shoe on Saturday, April 1, 2006, at 10:00am. Because of the limited nature of these shoes, they will be sold first come, first served, and only while quantities last. We apologize in advance to any of you who may not be fortunate enough to purchase a pair of these amazing shoes.

There is a good chance that many people will be showing up early for these, so even though we will be opening at 10:00am, a line up before opening is almost a given; coming early to get in line is a good idea.

For those of you 19 years and older, we will be having a release party for our shoe the evening before the release, on Friday, March 31, 2006. This will be held at the Distrikt, and those who arrive between 8pm and 10:30pm, will be eligible for door prizes from the Tiki Room and DC Shoes. We will also have a video premiere of Enjoi’s “Bag of Suck” beginning at 9:00pm.

We look forward to seeing you for either of these rare events! Thanks for your continued support!

PLEASE, if you are at all physically able to do so, attend the skatepark meeting at City Hall at 4pm on Wednesday, March 22, 2006 on the 15th floor.

PLEASE keep yourself on your best behavior, as you all normally do, as this is a CRUCIAL meeting regarding the future of our new skateboard park. There are few opportunities for us as skateboarders to make positive impressions on the legions of haters that will, undoubtedly, be at this meeting. Show your support for a new skateboard park.
This meeting could decide whether our skatepark gets built this year, or if it will be put off for another year or possibly more. Your attendance is critical. Bring your parents, bring your grandparents.

The new Girl/Chocolate tour DVD (Hittin’ Britain/Oui Will Rock You) has come in, along with the newest Cliche tour DVD (Hello Jojo!). The good news: they’re both sick. The bad news: you can’t buy them. But as you know, we’re a group of bang up fellows, so mosey on down to the Tiki Room, and we’ll play ‘em for you. NO TAX!

Has anybody read the March 2nd post on communities4sk8rs?
