Come help out! It’s too wet to skate, the beach will be better tomorrow, and your help is needed. There’s a forklift, so you won’t really exert too much energy. All you do is chill with some guys and occasionally lift a ramp or two… THANKS!

Indoor park ramp removal
It’s that time of year again- we’re moving the ramps out of the indoor park for the Exhibition closure. Your help is needed, so if you aren’t doing anything on Saturday (July 21st), please come out and volunteer. Thanks!

Tiki Ramp Jam
Waivers are required if you want to skate at this event. You can download it, or visit the wonderful, handsome staff down at the Tiki Room to pick up your copy. Helmets are mandatory too… yep.
Element Goldstrike shoes
Element produced some limited shoes with a cool concept behind them:
1. skate the shoes
2. if the shoes are gold under the toe cap, you get free Element boards for a year
These shoes are now available at the Tiki Room.
There were only 100 of these released in Canada, and 100 in the US. Only one gold pair was issued in each country, so you could be the lucky one! More info on the Element website.
Wam at the Plaza
Winnipeg is holding a big contest this year titled “Wam at the Plaza”. Lots of cash is up for grabs. Get out there if you can.
