Official Press Release
With these hard times, we regret to inform the skateboarding public of Regina and surrounding area that the Tiki Room will no longer be able to provide quality skateboarding goods. Contributing factors are the current housing market in Regina, the required helmets and entry fee for the indoor skateboard park, and the popularity of television- specifically a program dubbed “Life of Ryan”.
Though skateboards will no longer be available, we will be moving forward and continue to sell essential items such as white rimmed sunglasses, hair gel, and chest waxing products. We will also chart into new territory by providing the fine folks of Regina a dozen new tanning beds and a brand new full weight room!
Skateboarding’s demise has been coming for some time now, and our continued growth relies on these key changes. For the sake of our wallets, it is our hope that the skateboarders of Regina will succumb to the societal norm, and assimilate with the pop-culture that has blessed the current perception of skateboarding to the masses.
