Shelbyville

July 31st, 2008 by noel

So I woke up this morning, was driving to work, but drove to the Northgate mall for some reason. When I finally realized what was up, I drove downtown, only to find someone parked in my stall at work.

Our boy Danny made some good out of the recent bad weather Regina’s been dealing with. This tree parked itself on his street, and KC managed to snap a mean pic of a Ferndog ollie.

Indoor Park

July 23rd, 2008 by trent

Thank you Shane, Mike L, C-Mac and last but not at all the least, Noel for the annual indoor park move. I know its summer and easy to ignore the indoor park, but we should try and remember that the indoor is likely the most important of all the parks in the city. Imagine a winter without it? Hopefully we will see more turn out for the move back into the park. See you there…we will keep you updated on when we will move the ramps back in.

Thanks again

Trent

Sunday: contest, ramp moving

July 19th, 2008 by admin

Ramp moving has been delayed: we were going to do things tonight, but Riderville has spilled into the parking lot, and there’s no way that we could possibly move anything out of the building. Thus, ramps will be moved the evening of Saturday July 20th, 2008. If you can help, great. If you need to play video games instead, check your head.

Indoor park ramp moving

July 18th, 2008 by admin

It’s that time of year again: we’ll be moving the ramps out of the park on Saturday night. If you want to score some brownie points, earn some respect, and contribute to the skateboard scene in Regina, get your ass down to the indoor park on Saturday night around 7:00. We have a forklift, so it’s not like the old days, and is usually pretty chill. ou might get dirty, that’s about it. Thanks!

The seasonal closure of the indoor park is now in effect. The park will be back open sometime in the fall (the date depends on how badly damaged the surfacing is).

Damn we’re excited about this one: the Tiki Room was able to attain the services of skate graphic legend Jimbo Phillips for a Tiki Room graphic. This has been in the works for some time now, and on Friday July 18th, 2008 we’ll finally have the boards available for sale.

Here’s a peek at the graphic:
