Top three reasons to buy the new flip video:
1) Bob Burnquist skates the rainbow rail like you would skate a flatbar.
2) At one point, Geoff Rowley is standing on the roof of a cabin with a live cougar about ten feet from him. I don’t know if this is real or fake, but thats a pretty manly move.
3) David Gonzales smith grinds 100 stair hand rails (slight exaggeration by a stair or two) and spits on dead birds.

Owen’s gear fund
By now you’ve likely heard about our homeboy Owen Woytowich getting his gear stolen in T.O. He’s one of the best guys out there, and if you know him and would like to help him out, you can hook him up with a bit of cash through a page on Chris Kendall’s site (click the donate button). Remember to indicate “Donation for Owen” in the “purpose” space. Chris is a super legit guy, so don’t feel sketched out if you don’t know Chris.
Sneak Attack sale…
This weekend we’re sneaking in the buy one get one half price sale again. Saturday and Sunday only! GET HUNGRY!
Indoor update
We’re in the home stretch for the park, and it should be open mid-week (before Halloween). The park looks amazing- the wait will be worth it.
Much love to all of the volunteers who have put it their time to make the park so great!
Flip’s Extremely Sorry DVD now in stock!

Get hungry on this vid.
HOLY DIVER!
As you may have already noticed, Regina’s skate season is slowly coming to a close. I’ve traded in my wife beaters for a snow suit, and although I do have an obscene amount of chest hair, skating outdoors is a little too cold these days. Multiple times a day we get calls asking when the indoor is going to open, why its taking so long, if i really am in fact “spider legs” and also to hurry up. My answer to that is this. If you guys REALLY want a loop at your indoor this year, I suggest you quit complaining, because we can and will stop building it. Also, the longboard slalom course (designed exclusively by Kelsey Chapman) will be taking up a good 3/4 of the park this year, so I suggest you trade in that stupid, short skateboard for a REAL skateboard.
In other news, a few Regina cats have been busting their ass for a good portion of this skate season filming for “Just A Sample”, a skateboard flick coming out of Winnipeg. I’ve seen the rough edits, and Taylor, Laker, and Jason’s parts are going to blow minds. My part is more focused on being handsome then actually skating (despite my few tricks down el toro that will ‘shut the haters up’), but im sure you’ll enjoy it all the same. An individual who’s name will not be mentioned did originally have a part, but much like the song, “its my party and i’ll cry if i want to”
Well, I have to poop so this concludes my first of many posts on this site.
Later!
Indoor Sk8 park
The indoor is getting going through some changes and will be closed until further notice. Check back in too see when it opens up for the fall/winter.

Tiki Room x Qunitin
We were fortunate enough to be part of a select group of retailers chosen to make custom hats with Quintin. Dubbed “the Ko-op”, the project spans all of Canada and includes eight shops. You can read all about the Tiki hat and its inspiration by going to the Ko-op website, and you can pick up the hat at the Tiki Room. In stock now!
