So as you may have heard, Berra is out to save smaller skate shops and parks. Here’s what he said and I quote: “There is a war being waged on small business “. Wow, what a great dude, you can advertise your shop on the Berrics site. But what he fails to mention is the price tag, or that in Canada he has a exclusive deal with a certain mall store which means that your local shop can’t get any Berrics stuff. Watch the video on the Berrics or Youtube. Berra himself tries to convince you that he wants to help and again I quote: “Mall stores with deep pockets and empty history”. How much is that kind of hypocrisy worth your legitimacy? Well thats just sad you try and promote one thing and do the complete opposite. Berra you should be ashamed of yourself. The state of the skateboarding industry should not be used as leverage for monetary gain. You are a disgrace to skateboarding

W2W 13: Pre game Predictions

Mike Langen will fall asleep in the back room before his run. Possibly also sleep during his run.
Bryce will hardflip over the pyramid to flat on his 9 inch creature board first try, no warmup, and without stretching his legs beforehand. DAMN!
Out of towners will be welcome, but not really. Just don’t get in Dave Chapados’s way is all im saying.
Laker will join the contest 3 hours late, possibly still drunk from the night before.
“Holy Diver” by Dio will be on repeat the entire contest no questions asked.
Double trouble will be in full effect from Tyrrell, with no flip trick under two rotations. 2 trill!!

Here are my predictions for placing
1. Taylor Senft/Corey Lakeman (It’s a toss up!)
2. Tony Hawk/Dave Chapados
3. Tyrrell Legrand/Joey Brezinski/ They look the same!

On an unrelated note, for some odd reason lately when people have been coming into tiki shopping for wheels I’ve had about four kids call them “tires”. This actually could come in handy because we’re waxing every surface of the park the night before, so leave your wheels at home and bring your dunlop winter set. Or just stop calling wheels tires.

And now for the most important part about this post!
There’s a possibility that two CONTRACTED riders may be attending the contest. Charlie and Lee have been doing a ton of push ups and have been coaching eachother day in and day out, plotting for a hopeful victory in this years w2w. Will it happen? Only time will tell kids! W2W 13! Sunday November 22 at the Heritage Building!!!!!
