It’s official…

One damn fine skateboarder, Van Wastell apparently has passed away. Rest in peace.
Today at 4pm you’ll be witness to some crazy skateboarding at our plaza park. Do not miss this. For reals. The guys are STOKED on the park design. The rain gods are going to take a break for this event, not to worry…

This Thursday, August 14, 2008, the Fourstar Clothing team will be skating at Regina’s new plaza park. The demo will begin at 4pm. The riders listed above are some of the greatest skateboarders on this planet, and the rare chance to see them in person is something you shouldn’t miss. We’ll see you there!
Today would have been Eddy’s 24th birthday. Instead of a present for him, here’s a present for all of you: a never before seen clip of the legend himself, Edward Johannes Lugt. We still miss ya, Holmes.

If you haven’t heard about this site yet, you’ll be stoked. Koston and Berra have a private skate facility from which everything is documented, then put up on their website, theberrics.com. Definitely worth checking out.

Is Welcome to Winter Canada’s longest running skateboard contest? We’re not 100% sure, so if you know otherwise, drop us a line…
Check the Welcome to Winter 11 website.

The Tiki Room was approached to do a colorway of any Plan B board. Above is the final product. We chose Colin McKay, as he’s the only Canadian on the team, along with the lesser known fact that Colin McKay was born in Regina.
The top sheet has the Tiki woodgrain logo on it, as opposed to the normal Plan B logo. Only 50 of these were made, so get ‘em while you can…
Sarah Molder was representing the Queen City this past weekend out east in the DC Nationals. She placed fourth in all of Canada. Woohoo! Nice work Sarah…
It’s that time of year again- we’re moving the ramps out of the indoor park for the Exhibition closure. Your help is needed, so if you aren’t doing anything on Saturday (July 21st), please come out and volunteer. Thanks!
Winnipeg is holding a big contest this year titled “Wam at the Plaza”. Lots of cash is up for grabs. Get out there if you can.
