Today would have been Eddy’s 24th birthday. Instead of a present for him, here’s a present for all of you: a never before seen clip of the legend himself, Edward Johannes Lugt. We still miss ya, Holmes.

LAKAI VIDEO PREMIERE!

No April Fools on this one… I’ve seen this video, and you’ll definitely want to see this on a bigger screen. Entry is $2.00 with half going to the Exchange, the other half going to the indoor park (both non-profit organizations). What else are you going to do on a Sunday night, anyway? Let’s pack the house. This event is all ages.
PS- the Exchange is liscenced, so older guys can have a beer or two if they want.
New Tiki Tees/Hoodies/Stickers

Shit’s GANGST!
We got new stickers too- just like the big boys…

Ninetimes
Damn, boyee. Our friends up in Saskatoon sent some news down here: Ninetimes was purchased by team member Jason Gordon. Crazy Shit. Congrats to him, and congrats to Corey for putting his kids as priority number one. Good stuff all around.
The indoor skatepark….
…. FINALLY opens today at 1:00pm.
Bring your helmet AND your $3.00. Enjoy that mini ramp.
DEF3 + Moka Only “Dog River”

Our homeboy DEF3 (aka Danny Fernandez) has dropped an album with Canadian hip-hop legend Moka Only. It’s called Dog River, and you can pick it up at Tiki, HMV or CD Plus in the Northgate Mall.
You should also check out DEF3′s myspace page.
Indoor park – help needed!
Sunday August 19 is the day we’re moving the ramps back in the building- rain or shine. Things will be starting around 1pm, so if you can give us a hand, you’re a champ. If not, you’re a chump.
Edward Lugt
It’s been four years since Eddy passed away, and he’s still the King of the QC.
Please leave any words for him and his family in the comments.
Tiki Ramp Jam

Waivers are required if you want to skate at this event. You can download it, or visit the wonderful, handsome staff down at the Tiki Room to pick up your copy. Helmets are mandatory too… yep.
